Port Information

Money and Currency’s

Overseas ports are most likely to only take their own currency; You can pay with credit card at most ports. Places like Vanuatu and other small islands take AUD at their markets. Cruise Obsessed recommends (depending on how much you’re planning on spending) you take $100 in $5, That makes it easier for the small markets to give you change and they can easily convert it into their own currency. If you are going to use local currency be sure to convert it before your cruise, as it is more expensive to do it while you are overseas.
